BylawRef is a mobile-friendly reference system designed to help municipal officers quickly locate bylaw offences, applicable charge wordings, and supporting resources while in the field.

Custom pages allow you to provide internal guidance, procedures, or training material, all in an easy-to-use editor.

Groups & Access Control

Organize officers, laws, and resources into groups, so each team only sees the information relevant to their role. BylawRef is hosted securely in Canada and accessible from any device with a modern browser. All data is stored within Canada, ensuring privacy compliance. You don’t need to manage servers, updates, or security — it’s all handled for you.

Currently tailored for Ontario offences, using language aligned with the Provincial Offences Act, including terms like: set fine, total fine, Part 1–3, Provincial Offence Notice, Parking Infraction Notice, summons, and short form wording. Additional municipalities and rules can be added upon request.
